Frustration

So here's the deal: I did spend the afternoon writing a post (all about Wren), and nearly published it. But Blogger was NOT cooperating with me once I added the pictures, so that's why there's no new post. I have such a hard time getting the pictures in the right place. Why can't you just click where you want it, insert the picture, and it's there?? I'm so irritated about it, I just can't bring myself to try again. I might just have to start from scratch, and that just makes me wince. I don't just whip out a blog post in a couple of minutes, folks. More like a couple of hours, if I'm lucky. All that editing and rewording and rearranging...like anyone cares!

Long story short about the car: the repair was going to have to wait a few days till the part came in, so we decided to bite the bullet and just go on the trip without a/c. We left at around 8pm to avoid the sunlight, and it really wasn't so bad once we got out of the city.

Have you seen this video? Throughout this ordeal, we had to keep reminding ourselves that there really are good things to come if you don't give up.

And sure enough, we did have "good things to come" -- a wonderful trip with many of our loved ones in a beautiful place that has come to mean so much to me these past 30+ years.

Sorry about the car. Glad you got to go hang out in the cool weather with your family.

If you make it to trying again, I will enjoy reading all about your new little addition.

I'm so sorry your plans had to change--and maybe even more sorry that your post didn't work out (sorry for me, anyway)! Glad you finally ended up going to Alpine, even if it was without a/c. Good memories to look back on, right? ...just like Elder Holland's cute little family. =) (Thanks for sharing that video!) I also had to laugh at your explanation of creating a post--I TOTALLY relate!!! I always think other people just slap their pictures on there in a matter of a few minutes... thanks for making me feel better. =)
I'll look forward to seeing pics of little Wren, whenever you get another chunk of spare time! =) No pressure, of course...
